Paulo Sousa

Paulo Sousa, born in Viseu, Portugal, was part of Portugal’s golden generation. He became the first Portuguese to win the UEFA Champions League with two clubs, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund, and won 14 trophies with top European teams. As a head coach, Paulo Sousa has managed over 500 official matches, winning 10 titles. He has competed in major tournaments including the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, Copa Libertadores, and AFC Champions League Elite. In the most recent season, he led Shabab Al-Ahli to the best campaign in the club’s history, winning four trophies — an unprecedented achievement also for Emirati football.
