Alican Inal

Alican is an Associate Principal at Populous, leading the EMEA Urban Design studio, where his primary focus lies in crafting large-scale entertainment and sports destinations and venue-anchored mixed-use masterplans prioritising seamless experiences. He has led multiple World Cup stadium masterplans in KSA, including King Salman Stadium Masterplan, major sports and entertainment destinations in Qiddiya, and an International Sports City with a 60,000-seat stadium, arena, and training facilities. Beyond his project achievements, Alican has a strong passion for research and education. He formerly held position of Senior Teaching Fellow at Bartlett, UCL, where he was in charge of a dynamic design studio focusing on computational urban design.
