António Silva

António Silva is the President of European Aquatics and Vice President of World Aquatics, leading governance and integrity efforts in aquatic sports across Europe and globally. He led the transformation of European Aquatics, introducing independent integrity committees, athlete safeguarding policies, and a sustainability strategy across 52 national federations. A Full Professor at UTAD with a PhD in Sports Sciences, he has published 400+ academic works and coordinated several EU-funded projects on ethics in sport, dual careers, and coach development.
